A small lab, making quiet tools for seeing clearly.
Most software is designed to take your attention. We design for what happens after you give it back to yourself.
What would it take to see yourself clearly?
Not a better habit tracker. Not another feed. A quiet place to notice where you are, where you want to go, and what is actually in the way.
We build for the people who want to meet themselves.
Kenshō (見性) is a Zen word — a short, clear glimpse of one's own nature. We think software can be in service of that glimpse, not against it.
Three moving parts.
Every instrument we build is some arrangement of the same three components. Attention is how you see. Intention is where you're pointing. Action is the smallest honest step.
Our first app is called Unfolding.
A quiet tool for seeing the life you're in and moving, slowly, toward the life you actually want. No streaks. No leaderboards. No optimization. Just a place to think, out loud, with yourself.
Learn more about UnfoldingAn app lab, not a startup.
We're a small team making small, careful apps. We ship when the work is honest. We don't grow for the sake of growing. If something we make helps one person see themselves more clearly, it was worth making.
